He was predeceased by: his mother-in-law Shirley Rockwell. He is survived by: his spouse Brenda; his children, William Shepherd (Tara) and Tara Hill; his grandchildren, Richard, Alix, Aidan, Nicklas and Cameron; his great grandchild Emmett; his siblings, David Shepherd (Gayle) and Paul Shepherd; and his siblings-in-law, Kevin Barnard, Cynthia Rockwell and Bonnie Rockwell.

There was a private family interment in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY . In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The War Amps or to The Heart and Stroke Foundation.
