With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Linda Ritchie (London, Ontario), who passed away on September 4, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Linda leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Linda may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Zinkann and Norma Zinkann. She is survived by: her husband Charles Scott Ritchie; her brother James Zinkann; her children, Colin, Heather and Chris; and her grandchildren, Madeleine and Benjamin Dierickse.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Harris Funeral Home (220 St James St, London, ON N6A3H6). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sunningdale Golf and Country Club (465 Sunningdale Rd W, London, ON N6G5B9).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Health and Homelessness Fund for Change, administered by the London Community Foundation (https://www.lcf.on.ca) or a charity of your choice.

“Here's another chapter with a couple of photos to add to the memories of the rich life of Linda Ritchie. I have great memories of her when she joined our group of ESL teachers at the Crouch ESL program on Hamilton Road. Students from other countries often feel threatened having to learn a new language in a new country but Linda had the warmth and skill to put them at ease and bring out the smiles and laughter. I treasure those days of working with her.”
