He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Brown and Emily Brown; and his siblings-in-law, Norma Rae, Delton, Betty Groff (Stan), Bob Rae (Eileen) and Mary Lou.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his brother Victor Brown (Edna) of London; his children, Shirley Anne (Jim Barth), Pam (Jim Prokop), Winston Brown of California and Tim (Heather Brown); his grandchildren, Carolyn, Adam Pachnik, Katherine, Chris MacDonald, Sherri, Rob Jones, Michael Prokop, Victoria, Stephen, David Brown, Christopher and Nicole Brown; his siblings-in-law, Carson, Ross Bradshaw, Fern Rae, Edna Jackson (late Donald), Ormand Rae (late Alice), Arnold, Marilyn Rae, Gordon Holliday, Lavern, Irene Rae, David, Ruth Rae and Gwen Bradshaw; Aurelia, Victoria, Zoe, Hunter and Jaelyn.
