He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Jennifer Cawston (Ben); Lawrence Chin, Justin Verberne (Ivette), Sara Nash (Dylan), Jordan Verberne (Jade), Taylor Verberne, Ryan Verberne (Tiana), Rachel Thompson, Nicolas Rudell, Jade Verberne and Bryce Verberne.
He is survived by: his wife Joanna; his children, MaryAnne Chin (Paul), John Verberne (Janet), Hatty Murray (Niall), Anthony Verberne (Lupita), Jeff Verberne (Laura) and Joanny Rudell (Rob); and his great grandchildren, Bastian, Tessa, Austin, Leo, Jordy, Isaiah and Sahalie. He is also survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McFarlane & Roberts Funeral Home (2240 Wharncliffe Rd S, London, ON N6P1P8). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the St. George Parish (1164 Commissioners Rd W, London, ON N6K1C7).
In lieu of flowers, the family invites those wishing to honour Louis's memory to make a donation to Concerned Friends, an Ontario charity dedicated to advocating for improved long-term care.
