She was predeceased by : her husband John "Jack" Downes; and her parents, Hugh Bogie and Margaret Bogie (Kelly). She is survived by : her siblings, Sister Mary Jude, Josephine, Richard LaPlante, Anne, Hugh Timmons and Catherine Blom (late Bert); and her siblings-in-law, Joe Downes (late Margaret) and Eileen O'Farrell of Scotland. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St George Parish (1164 Commissioners Rd W, London, ON N6K1C7). A Mass was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the St. George Parish (1164 Commissioners Rd W, London, ON N6K1C7).
