She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry McKay and Myrtle McKay of Scott Settlement; her siblings, Mary Dunning of Connecticut and Norman McKay of Kitchener, ON.; and her daughters-in-law, Susan Lonsway and Jane Lonsway.

She is survived by: her children, Wayne Lonsway of London, ON, Doug Lonsway of Kitchener, ON and Heather McKeown (Colin) of Ottawa, ON.; and her grandchildren, Jenna Rose McKeown and Corey Robert McKeown.
