Marian Emma Emma Henderson Obituary
We are sad to announce that we had to say goodbye to Marian Henderson (London, Ontario).
On December 13, 2019, at 10:30 pm, my mom, Marian Emma Henderson, was suddenly taken from us at Victoria Hospital in London, Ontario at the young age of 88.
Mom was so excited about Christmas approaching, and expressed it with warm thoughts of sharing the special day surrounded by her dear family. But unfortunately, she was taken too soon for her wish to come true. Instead, she shone down from heaven in spirit and gave us the strength needed to get through our first Christmas without her physical presence. Mom loved bringing her "trifle" to our Christmas gatherings, so I made one in her honor, using the recipe passed down from her mom, my Grandma, to mom and then to me.
Marian is survived by her loving daughter and sons, Kendall Gamble (Rowley), Christopher Rowley and Christopher Henderson; her two dear brothers, Kenneth and Rodney Blamires; son-in-law and daughter-in-laws, Kevin Gamble, Wilma Rowley and Margaret Henderson; sister-in-law Margaret Blamires; supportive adopted son-in-law, Joel Mackay; devoted niece and nephews, Sandra, David, Howard and Christopher Blamires and her dearest to heart grandchildren, Christian Gamble, Michael Johnston, Christine Rowley, Adam Rowley, Sarah Rowley, Jeremy and Collin Henderson
and many more dear family and friends, too many to list.
Marian joins her mother and father, Hilda Blamires (Deacon) and Charles Blamires, her twin baby boys, her beloved late husband Donald Henderson and former beloved late husband Ronald Rowley; her dear sister-in-law, Joan Blamires; sweet grand-niece, Claire Hamilton (Halko) Marian also joins her beloved furry family members, “Petey", “Sammy", “Daisy" and “Robbie Doggie”.
Mom shared her life through good times and a few sad, encircled by the nearest, dearest, kindest and most supportive friends, near and far, that any woman could be so blessed to know. Your devotion and love for her will never be forgotten.
Mom was full of life. She had an infectious laugh and loved entertaining. She was a gracious host and made everyone feel welcome in our home. She was also a family girl and enjoyed many weekends just hanging out with us. She was a woman like no other. She filled my life and the lives of those who knew her, with the warmest, most loving memories. When I think of her, I feel her warm hand on mine, her safe hug, her bright smile, her colorful laugh, her delicious home-cooked meals and baking. I will always remember how safe she made me feel and the unconditional love she surrounded me with from now until forever.
Mom is now a star who shines above us during our lightest days and darkest nights.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the Community Room
