She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Medd and Elizabeth Medd; her siblings, William, Anna Laudenbach (Michael), Marilyn Williams (Joseph) and Leo Medd; her brother-in-law Father Joseph Hardy; and her children, Mary and Joseph.

She is survived by: her husband Jim Hardy; her grandchildren, Madeleine, Joey, Rosemary, Sam, Ryan, Owen, Renée, Serenna, Kieran, Mark and Andrew; her siblings, Morris Medd (Rebecca), Patricia Armstrong (late Jack) and Denis Medd; and her sisters-in-law, Margaret Medd and Sharon Medd. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews.

In keeping with Marjorie's wishes, please do not send flowers. Donations in her memory may be made to the University Hospital Palliative Care Unit or the Sisters of the Precious Blood.

“Hardy Family, Please know that your mom was a big part of a special group of moms that looked after ALL of us in the neighbourhood like we were one of her own. We were very lucky to grow up in “Old North” together. (And even luckier that Marj Hardy was there to help guide us!) She was a very special person in the St. Michael’s parish and school community. With gratitude and heart-felt condolences, she will be missed! Mike Piché and the rest of the Piché clan.”
