He was predeceased by: his brothers, Wayne (Cynthia), John and Terry; and his parents, Basil Vanden-Berghe and Elsa May Vanden-Berghe (Stephenson).
He is survived by: his siblings, Monica Hines (John), Katherina Meadows (Paul), Margaret Janson and Audrey Boyce. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
