He is survived by: his children, Sylvia (Darrel) and Kathrina (Peter); his grandchildren, Jessica (Stephen), Elise (Gary), Eric (Jessica), Michael and Wyatt George Max; his siblings, Alfred, Hildegard, Irene and Ingrid; his nieces and nephews, Andre, Thomas and Carsten; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Sven and Jonas.
