He was predeceased by: his parents, Hasan and Mualla. He is survived by: his wife Laurie; his children, Filiz (Adem), Funda (Dale), Fulya (Kevin) and Okan (Jocelyn); his grandchildren, Murat, Yasemin, Derya (Tyler), Burak, Melike and Layla; his sisters, Hüsniye and Güzin; and his sister-in-law Shelley.
