He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Jill Boyd (Cunningham); his children, Amber, Bill Barclay, Lindsey Boyd, Zachary Boyd and Jacob Boyd; his mother Mary Margaret Boyd (Trott); his mother-in-law Joan Cunningham (Knight); his siblings, Joanne (Mike Smith), Karen Boyd, Missy Patterson (Duane Chaulk), Kim (Mike Mangano) and Tracey (Mike Kirkland); his father Ross Boyd; and his father-in-law Joseph Cunningham. He was also cherished by his many nieces, nephews, cousins.

Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Haskett Funeral Home (223 Main St, Lucan, ON N0M2J0). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
