He was predeceased by: his sisters, Dionnisia, Anna and Stamatia. He is survived by: his wife Maria; his children, Kontessa Kalsatos (Theo) and Konstantinos Hargikiriakos (Christine); and his siblings, Kyriakos, Stergia and Vasilios. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Memorial donations in Michael's name may be made to St. Joseph's Hospital, London Health Sciences Centre or the Greek Orthodox Church.
