He was predeceased by: his spouse Margaret Dowdall. He is survived by: his children, Cathy Zadorsky (Tom) and Maureen Goldsmith (Matt); his grandchildren, Thomas (Maria), Sarah, Meghan Zadorsky, Emily Goldsmith and Brooke Goldsmith; and his sibling Daniel Dowdall (Sharon). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
