He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Renata Matkowska; his children, Dariusz (Izabela) and Marcin (Trisha); and his siblings, Stefan Matkowski, Jaroslaw Matkowski, Zenon Matkowski, Danuta Zygadlo and Stanislaw Matkowski.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home (362 Waterloo St, London, ON N6B2N6). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Czestochowa Church (419 Hill St, London, ON N6B 1E5).
