He was predeceased by: his brothers, John and Stephen Stapylton-Smith; and his close friend Anne Welsh. He is survived by: his children, Carolyn Dafoe of London, Janice Callow of London, Peter Stapylton (Pat) of London and Paul Stapylton of London. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
