He was predeceased by: his wife Monica Alexandrina Tanasiciuc; and his sister Mirica Ionescu. He is survived by: his children, Mihaela Badescu of Glencoe and Anca Bogorin (Mirel) of London; his grandchildren, Cristina (Matthew), Vlad, Alice and Alexadru; and his great grandchildren, Adrian and Ronan.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there will be a private family service held.
