He was predeceased by : his parents, Domenico Monaco and Angiolina Monaco; his parents-in-law, Loreto and Rosina; and his siblings, Raffaele (Graziella), Teresa (Victor), Concetta (France) and Mercedina.

He is survived by : his wife Felicia (Rossi); his grandchildren, Angela and Mike; his great grandchildren, Nico and Briella; his grandchildren, Michelle and Vitor; his great grandchild Mateo; his grandchildren, Cristina and Doug; his great grandchildren, Holden and Fiona; his brother Paolino (late Mercedina); and his siblings-in-law, Joe (Onelia), Luisa (late Mario) and Angelo (Heather).

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 20th 2023 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home (362 Waterloo St, London, ON N6B2N6). A prayer was held on Wednesday, September 20th 2023 from 8:15 PM to 8:30 PM at the same location. A mass of christian burial was held on Thursday, September 21st 2023 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (345 Lyle St, London, ON N5W3R3). An entombment was held on Thursday, September 21st 2023 from 12:15 PM to 12:45 PM at the St. Peter's Cemetery (806 Victoria St, London, ON N5Y4E1).
