She was predeceased by: her daughter Darlene Gleeson; and her parents, Nathan Higgins and Florence Higgins of Halifax. She is survived by: her husband James Howard (Jim); her daughters, Margaret Howard (Bob Pauley) and Cheryl Howard; her grandchildren, Kristin Brohart, Victoria Garton, Rebecca Howard-Pauley, James, Jesse and Heather Cable; her stepgrandchild Shyla Russell (Curtis); and her friend Barb Barrett. She is also survived by several brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews and many close friends.
