She was predeceased by: her parents, John Newton and Catherine Newton. She is survived by: her spouse Bert Wormington; her children, Brian Wormington (Michelle), Valerie Smith and Trish Brooks (Noel); and her grandchildren, Matthew Wormington, Brendan Wormington, Josh Smith, Andy Brooks and Lauren Brooks.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at 555 Springbank Drive, London, Ontario.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations will be gratefully received by The Salvation Army London Citadel Corps in May's memory.
