Palma was predeceased by: husband Antonio; parents, Giovanni Sando and Rosaria De Sando; and siblings, Maria Concetta, Isabella, Bruno, Joe and Dominic.

Palma is survived by: children, Maria Pileggi Rosa Lorusso (Angelo) and Joe (Michelle); brother Vincenzo De Sando; and sister-in-law Anna De Sando. Palma is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family.
