It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul Gerard Bowes (London, Ontario), who passed away on March 2, 2026, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his brother Rick (Beth). He is survived by: his wife Laurie; his extended family, Jason, Kayla, Ryan, Emily, Tristan (Abby), Megan, Madison, Trinity, Haliegh, Chayse, Ryder and Oakley; his sister Mary Ellen Oates (Tom); his nephew Jeff (Melissa); his nieces, Jenny and Jessica (Eric); his great-nieces, Abby, Ava, Daphne and Marilyn; and his great-nephew Jake.

Donations in Paul's memory may be made to the London Forest City Flyers wheelchair basketball program, Happy's Place Retirement Home for Dogs, or St. Joseph's Hospice in London.

“I had the great pleasure to work with Bowesy while with Wheelchair Basketball Canada. He had such great enthusiasm for people, the team and Canada. When I started with the medical staff at WBC, Bowesy was the first to welcome me and “show me the ropes”. His guiding presence was welcomed an greatly appreciated. I will miss the chats.
