He is survived by: his wife Beate Gundert; his nephew Christopher Slattery; his sister-in-law Doris Gundert; his nephew-in-law David Gundert; his niece-in-law Hannah Gundert; and his family, Dr. K. McLellan and Dr. V. McAlister.
