He was predeceased by: his parents, Jorge DeMelo and Lourdes DeMelo; and his nephew Zachary. He is survived by: his spouse Josie; his children, Alexander, Christopher and David; his siblings, Rosa Barbosa (Joe), Ana Barbosa (Eddie) and Joey Melo (Dania); and his siblings-in-law, Alfonso Licata (Mary) and Enzo Licata.
