He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine Mitchell and Freeman Mitchell; and his siblings, Bonaparte, Godfrey, Ruth, Wilma, Agatha and Bernadine.
He is survived by: his children, Stephen, Carolyn and Mark Mitchell; his daughter-in-law Cindy Mitchell; his grandchildren, Jamilah, Javonte, Kathleen, Raquelle and Mylah Mitchell; and his great grandchild Dakota Mitchell.
