He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Rosemarie Reimer of London, ON, Irene (David Wiens) of Okotoks, AB and Hans (Jenny) of London, ON.; his grandchildren, Neil Wiens (Chantel), Tania Anzola (John), Tim Lane (Nicki) and Wesley Lane; his great grandchildren, Brittany, Tian and Tate Wiens; his wife Melita of Saskatoon; his daughter Helene Lane (Malcolm Lane) of Calgary, AB; his grandson Donald Wiens; and his parents, Poland and Munich.

Due to the Covid pandemic, there will be no funeral service.
