He was predeceased by: his father Stan; his brother Ron; his nephew Chad; and his father-in-law Bill. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Aubree, Nathan, Karson, Brielle, Jessa and Kayleigh; his mother Olga; his brothers, Rick (Sue), Roger (Izabella), Ryan (Sylvia), Norma, Nancy and Jeff (Lianne); and his sister-in-law Kim. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
