He is survived by: his former wife Joan Giovannazzo; his wife Jacqueline; his children, Stephen (Penny Campbell-Lownie) of Halifax, Timothy (Matilde Leon-Ponte) of Toronto, John (Ellen Yamanaka) of London and Susan of Halifax; his grandchildren, Anne, Clara, Theodore, Ian, Allison, Madeline, Rebecca, Samuel, Juliet and Daniela; his stepchildren, Andrew Baird and Natalie Baird (Ian); and his stepgrandchildren, Mackenzie Read, Adam and Ashley.
