She was predeceased by: her husband Gunter Thiel; her son Chad; and her brother Hans. She is survived by: her children, Belinda (Ali), Glenn (Suzanne), Sylvia (Azmi), Yannick, Sean, Perry (Elysia), Adam (Michelle), Leanne (Jean-Michel) and Marcus (Morgan); her great grandchild Ford; and her sister Ilse (George). She is also survived by numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews.
