He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Read (Taig); and his son David Read. He is survived by: his children, Peggy Read, Cathy Grasby (Bill) and Craig Read; his grandchildren, Graham Janson (Sarah), Naomi Kuehnbaum (Adam), Heidi Janson (Tyler Campbell), Erica Jewer (Tristan), Luke Grasby (Jill), Paul Grasby (Hannah), Jessie Read, Adam Read and Cole Read; his great grandchildren, Mackenzie Jewer, Brielle Kuehnbaum, Chloe and Lincoln Audette; and his nephew Scott Gray (Shelley).
