He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Springer; his parents, Elva Springer and Raymond Springer; his brothers, Gerry, Bill and Dale Springer; and his brother-in-law Maurice Fisher.
He is survived by: his children, Tracy Howie (Andy) of Elmwood, Robert Springer (Jaymie Lancaster) of London and Kevin Springer (Rhonda) of London; his grandfathers, Craig, Jordan, Kyle (Melissa), Nicholas (Jess), Mykaela (Bealal) and Alex; and his sisters-in-law, Faye Fisher and Nancy Springer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
