She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Patrick Hannigan and Catherine Jane Hannigan (Green); her siblings, John Patrick, Hugh, James (Anne), Mary Jane Silo (George), Kathleen Flynn (Matthew), Margaret Hales (John) and Angela Newmeir (Derek); and her brother-in-law Terrence McGorman.

She is survived by: her husband Kevin M. Hehir; her sister Dympna McGorman; her sons, Michael, Conor (Mayumi), Kevin (Cara), Paul (Åsa) and Raymond; and her grandchildren, Maja, Elsa, Nolan, Llewellyn, Aloysius and Kenneth. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
