He was predeceased by: his parents, Daisy Billson and Frederick Billson; and his siblings, Iris Billson, Helen Billson and George Billson.

He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his children, Douglas Billson and Barbara Black (John); and his grandchildren, Angela Billson, Jessica DaCosta, Jonathan Black and Jennifer Black.
