He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Potter and Gwyneth Potter; and his siblings, Victor Potter (June) and Margaret Crooks (Burly). He is survived by: his children, Wayne Potter (Deb) and Lynn Ellis; his grandsons, Steven and Andrew Potter; and his sisters, Luella Campbell (late Bill) and June Strickler (Gord).
