Ruth Smith Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Smith (London, Ontario), who passed away on April 2, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Gillmore and Reta Gillmore; her parents-in-law, John and Alice Smith; her siblings, Elaine Gillmore and Ross Gillmore; and her brother-in-law Ed Smith (June).

She is survived by: her husband Jack; her daughters, Brenda Mainprize (Paul) and Barbara Lynn Legge (Paul); her grandchildren, Melissa (Mark), Doug (Jennifer), David (Jessica) and Carolyn (Jon); her sister Sylvia Buchwald; and her siblings-in-law, Mary DiMarco (Steve) and Frank Smith (Linda). She is also survived by her nieces, nephews and many friends.
