He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Bannon and Veronica Gilbert; his stepfather Earl Gilbert; his brother Wilfred Bannon; and his sister-in-law Mary Ann Bannon.
He is survived by: his wife Colleen Bannon; his children, Lisa (Bob) and Shane; his siblings, Dennis Bannon (Paula), Dave Bannon, Michael Bannon (Ruth) and Diane Ireland (Frank); his close friends, Stephen, Michelle, Alexis Allenby and James Duggan; and his pets, Zeus and Max. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces.
