He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Stage and Doris Stage. He is survived by: his wife Mary "Jean" Stage; his children, Heather Haywood (late Chris Haywood) of Simcoe and Greg Stage of St. Thomas; his stepchildren, Louise Silverthorn (Scott) of Brantford and Lynn Foerter (Chris) of London; his granddaughters, Rosalie Mattison (Jake) of Aylmer and Vanessa Stage of Ottawa; and his great grandchildren, Greer and Joni Mattison.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private family service will be held by invitation only.
