He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Kolpin and Nora Kolpin; and his siblings, Arthur Kolpin (Shirley) and Gord Kolpin (Joy). He is survived by: his siblings, Ronald Kolpin (Marguerite) and Jean Jackson (Richard). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, that memorial donations made to Alzheimer's Society would be gratefully appreciated.
