He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Smith and Beatrice Smith (McDonald); his wife Fran Smith; and his brother James Harold Smith. He is survived by: his children, Cheryl McKellar (Scott) of Brantford, Pat LeGroulx (Dale) of Thamesville, Ken Smith (Chéri) of Harwich Township, Laurie Young of Blenheim, Britton Smith of Toronto and Barry Smith of Chatham; his grandchildren, Justin McKellar (Allison), Lauren McKellar (Rad Reick), Derek Sandercock (Dione Hunter), Jamie Hutson (Will), Devon Smith (Lindsay Wright), Victoria Smith (Bryce Voets-Sterling) and Katie Smith (Mitch); and his sister Rev. Marjorie Smith of London. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
