She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Gelinas and Simone Gelinas (Legault); her husband Eric Holmes of Alzheimer's Disease; and her siblings, Andre Gelinas (Ann) and Pauline (Gerard Gagnon).

She is survived by: her siblings, Marcel Gelinas (Henriette) and Ghislaine (Bob Murray); her sister-in-law Dorothy Holmes; her children, Mark (Terri) and Tracey Holmes Donesky (Finlay); her grandchildren, Ana, Evan Donesky, Carson Holmes, Brittany (Mark McRobie), Jeffrey, Cameron and Morgan Long; and her great grandchildren, Cole and Harper McRobie.
