He was predeceased by: his wife Marie (Barnes); his daughter Susan Lowe; his mother Eva Mook; and his brother John. He is survived by: his children, Gary Lowe (Francene), Robert Lowe (Anna) and Lisa Crawford; his son-in-law Richard Crawford; his stepfather Harold; his sister Christine; and his siblings-in-law, Carl and Barbara. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested any size donation to Diabetes Canada or Canadian Cancer Society.
