He is survived by: his daughters, Kathleen Hurley (Brendan), Veronica Vail (Peter) and Christa Welch; his grandchildren, Sophie, Hunter, Havayah, Mason, Harper, Izabella, Hayden and Adam; and his siblings, Jeanine Thyssen, Tom Abbott and Dan Abbott Roxanne (Donna).
