He was predeceased by: his son Michael Cluney; his stepchildren, Gayle Moreash and Randy Strapp (Kerry) of London; his siblings, Donald Cluney and Kathleen Harber; his granddaughter-in-law Danielle Davidson; his son-in-law Gary Slade; and his parents, Lily Cluney and Mathew John Cluney.

He is survived by: his daughter Rhonda Slade (Gene) of Dorchester; his stepdaughter Sheila Doan (Brian) of Komoka; his grandchildren, Brandon Davidson (Danielle), Sasha Davidson, Tara Slade, Paula Slade (Andrew), Emma Cartwright, Adam Moreash (Kyleen) and Nicholas Doan (Victoria); and his great grandchildren, Tyler, Damien, Lily, Carter, Chloe, Joshua and McKenzie.
