He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley; his daughter Karen; and his brothers, Walter and Harry. He is survived by: his sister Loretta; his daughters, Gail (Pierre), Sherri and Kathy; and his grandchildren, Christine (Scott), John (Joo Yeon), Jenny (Paul), David, Tara (Chris), Matthew, Jason (Caroline) and Terri Lynn. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
Due to the Covid-19 restrictions a memorial service will be held at a later date.
