He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Sid Kaastra (Tjeerd), Ann Swim and Ron Swim. He is survived by: his parents, Ray Kaastra and Lois Hardman (Grant); his sister Erin (Matt Van Overloop); his stepsiblings, Tammy Carriere (Dale) and David Hardman; and his grandmother Jennie Kaastra. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
