He was predeceased by: his children, Pierre and Marisa; and his siblings, Lena Zammit, Mary Testa, Louis and Joseph Simler.

He is survived by: his significant other Matilda; his children, Louise Simler, Curtis Pyatt and Isabelle Simler; his grandchildren, Shannon, Sasha Simler, Don-Erik, Kailyn, Wesley Pyatt, Jasmine and Kiana Simler-Fuoco; and his great grandchild Ryder Constance Camara.
