He is survived by: his wife Heather McParland; his children, Rod (Rita) and Tara (Matt Jones); his granddaughters, Hannah and Avaleen; his sister Lynn Lafrance (Tom); and his brother-in-law John Dashnay (Mary). He is also survived by his extended family and many dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada and the Canadian Cancer Society.
