He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Bennett and Marie Bennett; and his sisters, June Abbey (George) and Shirley Gottschalk (Bill). He is survived by: his children, Christine Meath (Stephen) of London, Todd Bennett (Michelle) of Toronto and Julie Hinz (Fred) of Mitchell; his grandchildren, Brianne Meath, Kevin Meath, Alexandra Bennett, Paige Bennett, Emily Hinz, Cassandra Hinz, Serena Hinz and Joel Hinz; and his siblings, Melba Bennett of Kitchener and Richard "Dick" Bennett (Janet) of London. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
