He is survived by: his brothers, Richard Hambly and David Hambly (Bev); his wife June Hambly; his daughters, Sandra Fickling (Douglas), Susan Fisher (Russell) and Stephanie Bryson (Craig); his grandchildren, Melissa Lobban (Kyle), Thomas Fickling, William Fickling, Heather Bryson (Tristan Cotter) and Katrina Bryson; and his great grandchildren, Parker and Coraline Lobban. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
