He was predeceased by : his brother Norman; and his parents, Peg Fischer and Earl Fischer of Stratford. He is survived by : his wife Margaret; his children, Mary (Admar) and Luke; and his friend Grove.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Harris Funeral Home (220 St James St, London, ON N6A3H6). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
